Our Hydrolite Edition brings the pinnacle of advanced, lightweight, polyethylene construction to our flagship Pulse 85 design, creating a superior kayak which handles better both on and off the water. By carefully optimising our mould tools, our production cycles, our materials and our cooling process we have been able to shave nearly 20% from the weights of our standard, hugely versatile Pulse 85 kayak.

Our most stable hull form also happens to be the liveliest!

Our carefully designed double concaved hull provides class leading amounts of initial and secondary stability, boosting confidence from your very first trip.

The keel and channeling have been designed to aid tracking during flat water paddling, but to break free whilst planing in the surf, ensuring a lively and manoeuvrable feel.

The wide point of the plan shape and low point of the rocker are close to the paddlers hips, giving a responsive, balanced and natural feel to the kayak.

Additional volume at the rail boosts stability yet further, whilst improving handling in rough water.

Is Hydrolite as strong as standard models?

The Hydrolite Pulse 85 is made from the same polyethylene used in the standard, by carefully optimising our mould tool, our production cycles, our materials and our cooling process we have been able to shave nearly 20% from the total weight of a standard model.

Does the light weight make a difference on the water?

The primary benefit for choosing Hydrolite is handling the kayak out of the water. The weight reduction over the standard model makes it easier when loading on the car and transporting the kayak to the water.

Is the Pulse 85 for Children?

Although the Pulse 85 does work great for kids, its suitable for any person up to 90-95kg, depending what you're wanting it for.

What is the Pulse 85 Hydrolite good for?

The Pulse 85s are a great general purpose kayaks, whether it's messing about for a couple hours after work, or cruising around for the day. It also happens to be great fun in the surf.

Our high density compounded polyethylene offers the best possible blend of stiffness, impact resistance, and UV stability we can find. This allows us to make lighter boats, that perform better and last longer. We advertise this proudly as we believe in our products and the level of quality that we deliver.

Nationwide Delivery - Small Items

We aim to ship most items next working day via Royal Mail or Parcelforce. Please allow up to 2-3 working days when using this method.

Express Boat Delivery

We offer express boat delivery within 5-7 working days for £45 per boat. Items will be collected next working day and delivered within 5-7 Working days.

Standard Boat Delivery

Standard boat delivery lead time is around 14 days for £30 per boat, and will be delivered by our own transport team. We will call or email you available delivery dates when we are in your area.
